Fresh Start Furniture Program
The Fresh Start Furniture Program provides gently used, quality furniture and home goods to families and individuals in need in Harford County, MD. Since 2016 we have served more than 1,100 families with donations provided by more than 1,500 donors. Persons in need of assistance can APPLY ONLINE by scrolling to the application below. Applicants must be Harford County residents over the age of 18 and must meet income-eligibility standards.
All services are provided by APPOINTMENT ONLY. Once an application is submitted, the Program Director will follow-up to schedule a pick-up appointment. Applicants are encouraged to arrange transportation of their items by all means necessary. If multiple barriers prevent the coordination of transportation, please indicate that prior to scheduling your appointment. Item availability is limited to our inventory at the time of appointment.
How To Apply
The Fresh Start Furniture Program at Found in Faith Ministries strives to maintain a wide variety of furniture and home goods items to meet the needs of Harford County’s most vulnerable families. There are no charges or fees for any items we provide.

Are you over the age of 18?

Do you have limited income?
If you answered NO to any of these questions, then unfortunately you do not qualify for the Fresh Start Furniture Program.

Found in Faith Ministries is currently located in Joppa, Maryland and serves the Harford County area. If you are in need of items or would like to donate and live in another county, we are happy to provide referrals to other furniture resources whenever possible.
Items We Provide
Please note that all items below are available based on our current inventory. We do our best to provide those in need with as many of the items we can as soon as possible. There may be a waiting list for highly requested items such as mattresses and dressers. We are often able to serve those in need with the ability to pick-up within 1-2 weeks. Please note, we transitioned the Fresh Start Furniture Program to an income-based program at the end of 2019.
