The 2024 1st Annual Fresh Start Flip Competition featured 12 teams going head-to-head to turn uninspiring furniture and home décor into upcycled treasures.

The teams competed in three categories including: 

      o Small/Mid-sized Furniture
      o Wall Décor
      o Tabletop Décor or Centerpiece

​

Award Categories & Prizes included:

      o Professional’s Choice Award

            ▪ Jen Jennings-Janson, owner of The Painted Mill in Fallston selected the top three items to be featured in our live auction.
            ▪ The winning prize for each piece will be a trophy, two tickets to the Tapas & Treasures event. 

            ▪ First place will also receive acknowledgment on a plaque in our showroom lobby.

       o The "Platinum Paintbrush” People's Choice Award

            ▪ All upcycled items will be featured on an online platform for the community to vote on their favorite pieces in each category.
            ▪ Winners in each category will receive the “Platinum Paintbrush” award and acknowledgment on a plaque in our showroom                         lobby.

       o Fresh Start Fundraising Award

            ▪ This award will go to the team who raises the most money for Fresh Start Furnishings through peer-to-peer fundraising.
            ▪ The winning team will receive a trophy, two tickets to the Tapas & Treasures event, and acknowledgment on a plaque in our                        showroom lobby.
