Donate to Fresh Start Furnishings at ICO
Thank you for your interest in donating to Fresh Start Furnishings at ICO! We give unwanted items a new life by passing them along at no cost to local families in need. Your in-kind donations not only provide comfort and a sense of dignity, but are helping to stabilize vulnerable households and end homelessness in Harford County.
Since 2016, we have furnished more than 2,050 homes thanks to generous donors like you.

DONATE YOUR BEDS
Did you know that we can take used mattresses and box springs* in good condition?
Most organizations are unable to accept new or used mattresses because they resell your donated items, but not at Fresh Start! Beds are our most highly requested item so we're happy to pass along your donated mattresses and box springs for free to those in need. We would also love your metal bed frames, mattress covers, and bed linens as well! ​
*All mattresses must be pre-approved before donating. Please click the "Donate Now" button to complete a donation form.

Our partnership with ReSupply makes donating to us easier than ever!
ReSupply is a veteran-owned, donation pickup and hauling service that is able to provide our donors with Priority Pickup service for a fee in as little as 48 hours!

The best part about ReSupply is that they are able to take ALL of your donations, not just those that can be used by the Fresh Start Furniture Program. Your donated items will be brought to our showroom where we will select everything our clients can use. Anything we are unable to accept is then rerouted to other local nonprofits in an effort to reduce waste and maximize your donation impact.
