Count Your Blessings
The demand for our services has grown beyond what we can currently fulfill. We now have a waitlist of more than six weeks, which means vulnerable families are waiting far too long for the help they so desperately need. In order to better serve our community, we’ve set a goal to assist 200 more households than we did last year. To reach that milestone, we are launching the Count Your Blessings Annual Fund during the month of March to raise the funds necessary to take Fresh Start Furnishings to the next level and and make an even greater impact in Harford County.

A fun activity for families and the faithful!
Pledge to count the total number of furniture items in your home and:

Say a prayer of gratitude for every item you have and a prayer of mercy for every item someone else does not.

Make a one-time donation of $1, $5, $10 (or more) for every furniture item you count.

Commit to a monthly donation equal to the total number of items you have in your home.

Bless What You Can by making a one-time or monthly donation to bring warmth to someone’s home:
$25 - Brightens a room with home decor
$50 - Provides a large furniture item
$75 - Delivers furniture to seniors and disabled persons
$100 - Stocks a kitchen with dishes, utensils, small appliances, and cookware
$250 - Fully furnishes a single room
$500 - Fully furnishes a home for one person
$750 - Fully furnishes a home for a family of four
