At Fresh Start Furnishings, we believe that no one should have to rebuild their life without the basics of a safe and comfortable home. Every day, we see how something as simple as a bed, a lamp, or a kitchen table can bring stability and hope to someone starting over after crisis.

That’s why we are so grateful for the support of community partners like APGFCU. Recently, Izak Battle, APGFCU’s Harford County Director of Business Development, presented a generous donation check to our Executive Director and Founding Member, Alicia Hamilton.

This gift will directly support our mission of providing essential home goods to individuals and families transitioning out of homelessness or hardship. With APGFCU’s help, we can continue turning empty spaces into warm, welcoming homes and giving people the dignity and foundation they need for lasting success.
