KCI Technologies Supports Delivery of Kitchenware Donation

Fresh Start Furnishings was blessed to receive an incredible donation of kitchenware that will make a lasting difference for families in our community. Eight pallets filled with essential home items were picked up and delivered by KCI Technologies straight from GXO/Conair Distribution Center.

The delivery included an amazing variety of household essentials including 86 toasters, 113 coffee makers, 51 blenders/mixers, 17 knife sets, 52 food processors, and 17 pots & pans sets. Families will also benefit from other items such as air fryers, microwaves, ice cream makers, tea kettles, and even a panini grill. In total, more than $4,000 worth of donated kitchenware items will soon find their way into the homes of Harford County's most vulnerable families.

Getting this much-needed kitchenware from the warehouse to our doors was no small task. Sam Moore of KCI Technologies stepped up in a big way, using his company vehicle to pick up and deliver the donation. Sam generously gave his time and effort to ensure these items made it to our showroom as soon as possible, demonstrating KCI’s commitment to supporting the community. Once the delivery arrived, a team of 10 dedicated volunteers worked together to unload and organize the pallets. Thanks to everyone’s combined effort, the items were quickly put into place and are now ready for distribution.

This generous donation reflects more than just kitchenware; it represents hope, comfort, and a fresh start for families building their lives after hardship. Something as simple as a coffee maker, a set of pots and pans, or a toaster can restore dignity and stability to daily life.
