Velvet’s New Beginning: Finding Peace, One Piece at a Time

Starting over after divorce isn't easy, but with courage and hope, Velvet is doing just that. Referred to Fresh Start Furnishings by Harford County circuit court, she came to us feeling anxious about asking for help.

She said the application process was easy and that once she walked through our doors, she immediately felt comfortable and welcomed.

Now, Velvet is looking forward to creating a new beginning on her own, but not alone.

Every piece of furniture she received is more than just a donation, it's a step toward healing, rebuilding, and finding peace in a space that's truly hers.
